Samsung has finally announced a new family of Galaxy series, Samsung Galaxy S III. Had looked forward to a long, smart phone is also believed to be a hard sell.
Even the optimism that came out of Samsung’s own party, who believed that the Galaxy S III will be more successful than S II in terms of sales.
As is known, Galaxy S II became one of the biggest contributors to profits for the South Korean vendor, with sales reaching 20 million units. Samsung is sure, ‘brother’ can sell more.
“Definitely, we hope so (selling over 20 million unit.red),” said Won-Pyo Hong, head of product strategy at the Samsung mobile business, told Reuters on Sunday (06/05/2012).
“We need much more time to spend on marketing to meet consumer interests and to meet the requirements of our partners,” he said.
On the whole Galaxy S III using the touch screen with a wide 4.8 inch Super AMOLED HD 1280 X 720 pixels, 8 MP camera, 1 GB RAM, and Android 4.0 operating system. Phone with a capacity of 2100 mAh battery is carrying the 4G LTE connectivity.
For the kitchen spur, Samsung uses a quad-core 1.4 Ghz Exynos. Mobile phones with white and blue color cast is a bit thicker (8.6 mm) and heavier (133 grams) when compared with the Galaxy S II.
