Two series DSLR that is Nikon D700 and Nikon D300S has been discontinued. This indicates, Nikon has prepared a replacement model.

Rumor says, Nikon will release a D800 although this has yet to receive confirmation. When you see that the D300S has been discontinued, then the series is also likely successor, the D400 will immediately bobbed.
